LV as an international well-known luxury brand, the LV stores in our memories are boastful and dazzling.

On the PC Hooftstraat shopping street in Amsterdam, the Netherlands,which is famous for its high-end boutiques and artistic creativity,

the LV shop design led by the award-winning UNStudio is surprising. 

The seemingly ordinary gray bricks are faintly revealed. Taking a closer look, it turned out to be a "stainless steel brick".

In the design of the first floor, glass is embedded in the stainless steel exterior wall, so that the glass with permeability can bring visual texture,

and a touch of care can create a unique store experience.

Two kinds of stainless steel bricks, square and rectangular, are alternately arranged to avoid dullness.

In the transition area on the second floor, the black exterior wall brick used in the traditional Dutch townhouse is used,

 which contrasts with  the stainless steel wall below. In the middle, it is inlaid with white opaque glass to increase the overall highlight. 

The window frame is slightly inclined to enhance the dynamic.

The door of the apartment on the third floor is designed with a hidden door which is still made of stainless steel.

The keyhole of the door is designed on the stainless steel wall and is embedded with opaque glass to ensure the privacy of the entrance area of the apartment.

According to UNStudio, the subsequent effects seem casual and effortless, but they are full of craftsmen's requirements for the ultimate craftsmanship. 

The stainless steel bricks are inspired by the exquisite details in high-end custom clothing.
